Pretham, a film which dismantled the ideas of blood and gore flicks in Malayalam silver screen was graced with humor and sheer true to life brightness of Ranjit Sankar's directorial ability, the sort of motion picture which can give you the dull chills like the mainstream Hollywood motion pictures. Jayasurya's lead part in the motion picture was a standout amongst the most refreshing characters in Malayalam film history, his great charge and control over his part won hearts all around.
Jayasurya return for the film's continuation, Pretham 2. Apprently, Ranjith Sankar will coordinate the spin-off likewise and Jayasurya will be proceeding in his part, the master mentalist. Pretham which discharged in 2016 had Jayasurya, Govind Padmasoorya, Aju Varghese, Sharaf U Dheen, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Pearle Maaney and Shruthi Ramachandran in noteworthy parts.
